
A glimpse into my engineering path through hands on projects and real world solutions.

Developed an IoT-based smart plug using ESP32 and ADE9153A IC for real-time energy monitoring. Features include remote switching, scheduling, overload protection, and MQTT-based data transfer with Node-RED visualization. Simulated and validated on Wokwi for efficient power management and reliable cloud connectivity.

Designed a constant mesh gearbox for a compost mixer featuring three forward gears and one reverse gear powered by an electric motor. Focused on detailed gear design, shaft and spline shaft design, gearbox housing and shifting mechanism to ensure smooth operation, strength and efficient power transmission under varying load conditions.

Analyzed the current production process of LE Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, a plastic recycling and manufacturing company. Identified inefficiencies in factory layout, quality control and machine usage; and proposed practical solutions including layout optimization, quality improvement measures and production planning adjustments to enhance overall efficiency and profitability.

Designed a mechatronic smart cot to monitor a baby’s comfort and health using motion detection and environmental sensors. Integrated ESP32 with OpenCV for movement tracking and IoT connectivity for real-time alerts. Planned app connectivity for remote doctor access to live video and condition updates.

Disassembled and analyzed a manual hand air pump to study its mechanism, material selection, and performance. Created 3D CAD models, measured key parameters, and suggested design improvements for better efficiency and durability. Enhanced understanding of product design and mechanical function through reverse engineering principles.
